Masters Degree in Civil Engineering or related degree plus 2 years of related experience is required, or in the alternative, Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or related degree plus 5 years of related experience. Must have successfully passed the PE Exam. Must have experience with the following technology platforms and software RISA3D, RISA Foundation, RISA Base, LPILE, spMATS, PLSCADD, MathCAD, BlueBeam Revu, AutoCAD, Microstation, ProjectWise, and Microsoft Office. Must have professional experience preparing 3D finite element models and analyzing complex steel structures. Must have professional experience preparing steel structure design calculations following standard methods and principles. Must have experience performing steel connection and baseplate design. Experience must include preparing fabrication and erection drawings for steel structures following standard methods and principles. Must have professional experience preparing foundation and oil containment design calculations following standard methods and principles. Must have professional experience performing drawing development for high voltage substation foundation plans, foundation details and oil containment. Must have experience interpreting and adhering to the AISC Steel Construction Manal, ASCE 7, ACI 318 as well as other regulatory agencies and industry standards. Must have previous experience with procurement and contract administration, project controls, and estimating. Position may require up to 5 regional travel. Must have good written and verbal communications skills in English.
