Six 6 months of required clinical genetic counseling experience must include Employer will accept experience and skills gained during employment, or during university educationcourses Teratogen counseling experience with teratology training; Experience with the concepts of prenatal genetics, clinical applications and standards necessary to provide comprehensive, current genetic services and counseling; Experience with risk assessment; Experience translating complex medical and genetic information to patients and health professionals; Case management; Experience with various teratogen information databases such as Reprotox, TERIS, LactMed, or other; Experience designing, supervising and executing research protocols and familiarity with input and date retrieval on computer database; and Experience with Mother to Baby.br br CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT Board certified or eligible as a Genetic Counselor by the American Board of Genetic Counseling ABGC.
