Applicants are expected to have a high level of proficiency in Korean. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or foreign equivalent by the start of the appointment, with a specialization in Korean literature, cultural studies, film and media studies, or a related field. Applicants are expected to engage with Korean language primary and secondary materials in their research. Applicants must submit a cover letter that addresses evidence of collaboration and leadership experience.
