Completion of a 36month Internal Medicine residency program; board certification in internal medicine; completion of 24month fellowship in Endocrinology which may include Metabolism andor Diabetes training in addition to Endocrinology; possess or be eligible for an Iowa Medical License; eligibility for registration with the Drug Enforcement Administration; and eligibility for reimbursement from the MedicareMedicaid programs.
