Required skills Conduct load flow analysis and perform Power System Analysis that includes Short Circuit, Coordination study and Arc Flash Analysis calculations using tools like SKM PowerTools, ETAP and EasyPower per NFPA 70E, IEEE1584 standards; Design, prepare, and review engineering drawings using various design software for new projects, alterations, and redevelopments, adapting the electrical plans according to budget constraints, design factors, and client needs; Perform lighting calculations, develop prototypes of the construction plans using simulation tools such as AGI32, ElumTools, Calculux and LightPro and layout light fixtures on the plans; Perform power cable calculations and design underground systems using AmpCalc software; Utilize knowledge of national electrical codes, established design standards, electrical specifications in Mission Critical facilities, NFPA70E, LOTO and OSHO guidelines surrounding safe construction practices.
