Minimum Requirementsbr Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Experience Design, HumanComputer Interaction, or related field and three 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a user experience designrelated occupation.br br Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites within commuting distance of Slalom, Inc.s Detroit, MI office. Some telecommuting is permitted.br br Special Requirementsbr Position requires at least three 3 years of experience in each of the following skillsbr 1. Research, define, and create humancentered experiences that benefit people and businesses;br 2. Conduct qualitative and quantitative generative research with a diverse range of stakeholders through methods including either interviews, focus groups, surveys, or contextual inquiry;br 3. Research, document, and visualize complex business processes, especially those that include a combination of people, software, and mechanical hardware, through process diagrams, user journeys, or service blueprints. Highlight potential improvements estimate their business impact;br 4. Plan, conduct, and lead client design thinking activities including workshops, design sprints, and whiteboarding sessions with clients and crossfunctional stakeholders;br 5. Create screen designs, user flows, and interactive prototypes in design software such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD;br 6. Conduct evaluative user research to validate and prioritize design concepts;br 7. Develop prioritization and phased implementation strategy for software features and future technologies based on user needs and business value; and,br 8. Apply subject matter expertise to improve design, manufacturing processes, quality testing, and automation, especially in the automotive industry.br br Position requires at least one 1 year of experience in the following skillbr 1.
