Bachelors or higher degree in Accounting, Commerce, or related field willing to accept foreign education equivalent, including a 3year foreign degree plus four years of accounting and auditing experience. Experience must include four years of performing audits under US Generally Accepted Auditing Standards GAAS, US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles GAAP, Public Company Accounting Oversight Board PCAOB, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants AICPA auditing standards, and SarbanesOxley SOX; performing technical research on complex accounting issues, including stockbased compensation and financial instruments, and developing appropriate audit responses; testing internal controls pursuant to SOX methodology for public companies and testing clients financial statement balances; working with companies to review their consolidated financial statements and disclosures in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS financial statements reporting requirements; conducting daily reviews of interim financial information in accordance with PCAOB standards; reviewing financial statement reports, analysis, and disclosures, and performing analytics on large financial data sets; performing US GAAP accounting research using Accounting Standard Codification ASC; utilizing advanced Excel tools including Excel Analytics, Pivot Tables, VLookup, and macros; interacting directly with senior management of the audit team and audit clients to discuss auditing issue resolution and continuity, and supervising and reviewing the work of audit teams both on site and overseas; and leading audit engagements and participating in all aspects of the audit engagement life cycle, including planning, staffing, budgeting, supervising, reviewing, reporting, closing out projects, and performing client services. Must possess U.S. CPA license or passage of all four parts of U.S. CPA examination. Less than 10 travel outside of normal commuting distance.
