Requires a J.D. or Master of Law, or foreign equivalent. Requires at least four 4 years of prior experience serving as an attorney with a law firm, focusing on construction law and domestic and international arbitration proceedings. Experience must include the following Drafting and negotiation of design and construction contracts; Negotiation of arbitration agreements; Drafting legal memoranda and pleadings; Interviewing witnesses and drafting witness statements; Assisting in the preparation of expert reports; Participating in arbitration hearings representing construction industry clients; Serving as legal counsel to construction industry clients; Serving as legal counsel to construction industry clients in alternative dispute resolution proceedings, such as international arbitrations or dispute boards. 20 domestic and international travel required.
