Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology, Controls Engineering, or a related field, plus two years of experience designing and troubleshooting industrial controls systems. Two years of experience must include two years of experience with each of the following 1 PLC or Programmable Logic Controller programming, installation and design on Rockwell AllenBradley Hardware and Software; 2 HMI Human Machine Interface Programming using FT View, Rs View, and LabView; 3 computer networking protocols and their implementation, including EthernetIP, ModBus, Profibus, and DeviceNet; 4 industrial automation software including National Instruments; 5 SCADA Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition systems and programs on automation software including SQL and JAVA applications; 6 industrial automation hardware PLCs Rockwell AllenBradley, network switches, IO cardsmodules, sensors and transducers, thermocouples, and serial communication modules; 7 Project management of controls related projects, controls systems, and components, including controllers, drives, and computers; 8 Computer languages including C, JAVA, PLC Programming languages, SQL and VBA; and 9 Computer interfacing with electrical devices and gas analyzers.
