Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field or the foreign degree equivalent and three years of experience in high voltage vehicle battery design.br br Experience must include three years of experience in each of the followingbr Designing module, and pack batteries;br Working with safety testing standards including UN 38.3, SAE 2464, RTCA DO311, RTCA DO160;br CAD design for electromechanical assemblies;br Working with battery electrochemistry and the respective thermal and electrical behaviors;br Supervising materials science testing for strength, fatigue, thermal and electrical properties in electromechanical applications;br Utilizing finite element modeling and analysis with multiple interfacing discrete bodies; andbr Working with component manufacturing processes including welding, milling, stamping, casting, injection molding, and others.br br Experience may be gained concurrently.
