In H.4 and H.4B above, the education requirement is a Bachelors degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related.br br In H.10B above, the experience requirement is five 5 years of progressive experience in mechanical design, product design, or a combination thereof.br br In H.8A and H.8C above, the employer will accept a Masters degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related and three 3 years of experience in mechanical design, product design, or a combination thereof in lieu of a Bachelors degree or equivalent and five 5 years of progressive experience as described above.br br Special Requirements Work experience to include CAD and PLM Software; Root cause analysis; Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis DFMEA; Design Validation Testing DVPR; and Simulation software e.g., SolidWorks, ANSYS or related. Approximately 5 international and 20 domestic travel required to various Tesla production facilities to oversee equipment installation and layout. Travel expenses to be paid by employer. Successful completion of reference checks and background checks is required.br br Special requirements defined at H.14 not to be conflated with H.8C andor H.10A. There is no timing requirement associated with the special requirements defined at H.14, unless specifically stated otherwise.br br Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
