Requires a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, plus five 5 years of data engineering or related database engineering experience in production scale platforms.br br Alternatively, will accept a Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, plus three 3 years of data engineering or related database engineering experience in production scale platforms.br br Experience must include two 2 years of experience in data mining and development of ETL processes; distributed data architectures and big data processing technologies such as Spark, EMR, Hadoop and Hive; and real time frameworks, collection, and processing real time data using kinesis data streams, KCL, KDA and Firehosesbr br Specific skills Also requires experience or knowledge in the following 1 Experience in CICD framework; 2 Knowledge of AWS technologies such as Lambda, S3, EC2, Redshift, Glue, Athena, Lake formation and step functions; 3 Experience with SQL, TSQL, Postgres and relational and multidimensional databases; 4 Knowledge of Python or similar scripting language; 5 Knowledge of Agile software development lifecycle; 6 Knowledge of AWS security services including KMS, CloudTrail and STS; and 7 Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data modelingbr br Any level of experience or knowledge in the specific skills is acceptable.br Telecommuting permitted from any location in the U.S.br br Section H.1 H.2 Primary worksite where work is to be performed Please note that the position reports to Fox Cable Network Services, LLCs office located at 2121 Avenue of the Stars, Los Angeles, CA 90067; and telecommuting is permitted from any location in the U.S.br br Please also note that Mr. Riazullah Khan reports to Fox Cable Network Services, LLCs office located in Los Angeles, CA; and he telecommutes from his residence in Concord, NC.
