Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field plus 2 years of experience in job offered or related occupations. In lieu of a Bachelors degree, employer will accept a Masters or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science or a related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or related occupations. 2 years of experience implementing small enhancements or minor bug fixes to software applications; communicate findings to stakeholders; utilizing big data platforms including HPCC to process large volumes of data; utilizing database technologies including SQL Server or MySQL and associated query languages including SQL; participating in continuous improvement initiatives and implementing best practices; utilizing MS Office tools including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word; utilizing a version control system including Git; compliant with best practices for coding; and utilizing objectoriented software engineering languages including C, C# or Java. Employee reports to LexisNexis Risk Solutions, Inc. office in St. Cloud, MN but may telecommute from any location within the U.S. Experience can be concurrent.
