Employer will accept a Masters degree in Statistics, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related technical field. Position requires completion of a universitylevel course, research project, internship, or thesis, or 6 months of experience involving the followingbr br 1. Extracting and aggregating data from large data sets using SQLHive or Spark;br 2. Analyzing large data sets using programming languages such as Python, R, SQL andor Spark;br 3. Generating and visualizing databased insights in software such as Tableau;br 4. Communicating datadriven insights and conveying actionablebr recommendations;br 5. Managing and organizing work in Office software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint andor Teams;br 6. Building predictive and descriptive statistical models using machine learning tool kit, Jupyter notebooks, Python, andor SAS; andbr 7. Data mining and statistical modeling e.g., regression modeling, clustering techniques, decision trees, etc..
