This position requires a PhD degree, or foreign equivalent, in Mathematics, Physics or Engineering or a related field and one year of experience in quantitative field OR a Master degree, or foreign equivalent, in Mathematics, Physics or Engineering or a related field and 4 years of experience in quantitative field. Additionally, the applicant must have professional experience or coursework with 1 Statistical methods and machine learning to analyze data and provide insights; 2 Understanding of concepts such as clustering, data visualization, Bayesian techniques, feature selection, unsupervised, supervised and reinforcement learning; 3 Statistical programming and modeling in a language such as Python, R or MATLAB; 4 Programming in languages such as C or Java; 5 Extracting managing data with SQL style queries, and data wrangling with tools such as Pandas or DataTables.
