Employer requires a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and 4 years of product design experience.br br Of the required experience, must have 4 years of experience in each of the followingbr br Connector Design for automotive applications;br Problem solving using 8D, fishbone, and cause and effect diagrams;br Design for Manufacturing and Assembly DFM and DFA;br GDT, tolerance studies, statistical analysis, and FEA;br Creation of 2D3D documentation;br Predictive engineering experience relating to connector mechanical functionality;br Use of DFMEA tool to proactively identify failure modes and develop risk mitigation plans; andbr Plastic resin and copper alloy materials, electromechanical engineering, manufacturing processes in injection molding, stamping, plating, and automated assembly.br br Up to 15 domestic and international travel required.br br Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.
