Position requires a Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field of study, plus 5 years of experience in the job offered, or as a Cabinet Vision Designer, Project Managers Assistant, Cabinet Vision Engineer, Project Engineer, or similar position in construction related industry. Must have 3 years of experience in high end millwork industry. Specific experience must also include each of the following working with Cabinet Vision CV software; creating and improving new construction methods and schedules; keeping software library up to date with latest hardware and material schedules; utilizing parametric formulas and user created standards UCS; applying both Imperial and Metric units; adding and modifying tooling, door schedules, and crown molding profiles within CV; building and maintaining specific catalogs within the CV; working with European design trends and fabrication methods; working with Autodesk AutoCAD, including reading and modify drawings; working with Biesse Suites software BSolid, including creating output cut lists and operation of CNC via Biesse software; applying advanced Excel analytical tools, including pivot tables and charts, to produce production and sales reports; creating work flows and construction schedules in Microsoft Project; gathering site measures to use for building cabinetry; conducting onsite consultations and assessments to clients and contractors; utilizing TKDA building standards to solve site issues and produce designs and layouts; using verbal skills to present complex technological concepts in the appropriate form to technical and nontechnical audiences; and managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Must be willing to travel and drive throughout Chicago and suburban Illinois. Must have a valid Drivers License.
