Requires a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Management, or related field plus 3 years of experience in deregulated energy markets or trading floor experience in the energy field. Requires 3 years of experience in the following Analyzing ISO markets from a transmission, generation, and fuels perspective; Financial analytical capabilities in pricing and risk management; Dispatch or flow models such as Dayzer or Powerworld; and Power system analysis and ISO operations.
