Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered, or as a Database Analyst or Coordinator, Information Systems Manager, or a related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to the Masters degree and one year of experience. Must have one year of experience in the following skills administering and supporting multiple databases for performance critical, highly available systems on a UNIX or Linux platform; data modeling; conducting performance tuning, backup, recovery, scalability, and capacity planning; and utilizing SQL. Willingness to provide 247 operational support is also required.
