Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related field and three 3 of postbachelor, progressive, related work experience. In alternative the employer will accept a Masters degree or foreign equivalent degree in a stated field plus one 1 year of work experience.br br Must have one 1 of experience withinbr br Practical roadway design experience inside large civil infrastructure constructionbr contracts with budget over 100 million;br Performing engineering design tasks, including the review of designs for roadwaybr projects from conceptual to final design;br Using CAD andor design software, such as Microstation, AUTOCAD, CIVIL 3D, Procure,br Primavera P6, or Bentley Inroads, to create analytical 2D and 3D models;br Applying the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officialsbr AASHTO policy and other relevant manuals in roadway design;br Using roadway design software, such as GEOPAK andor OpenRoads to create designs;br Negotiating technical requirements with key stakeholders and external consultants tobr project contract execution;br Performing engineering calculations to plan and assessing structures; andbr Identifying conflicts in engineering designs and developing solutions.br br Must have or be eligible to obtain a Texas state Professional Engineer PE license.br br Up to 10 domestic travel required.
