Green Village Concrete, Inc. requires a Senior Accountant who is able to provide complex analysis of accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports and advise management regarding recommended changes in operations and financial activities. This position is not entrylevel but an integral part of the companys financial and accounting operations that is vital to our overall operations and financial health. In order to report to management about asset utilization and audit results and recommend changes in operations and financial activities, she must have a Masters degree or foreign degree equivalent in Accounting or related such as business administration or management, in order to provide the required complex financial report analysis. Likewise, to analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenues and expenses and to provide effective advice, she must utilize knowledge gained from at least a Masters degree or foreign degree equivalent in Accounting or related such as business administration or management pertaining to financial reporting and decisionmaking, managerial finance, and statistical analysis for management. In fact, with only a Bachelors degree, she would be unable to aptly examine and evaluate financial and information systems, recommending controls to ensure system reliability and data integrity because she would not have the complex level of knowledge about financial and information systems reliability and data integrity that are acquired at a Masters degree level or higher. In other words, the complexity of the duties of this role requires a level of academic knowledge that can only be gained through at least a Masters degree or foreign degree equivalent in Accounting or related such as business administration or management. The educational requirements bear a reasonable relationship to the occupation in the context of our business and are essential to perform the job in a reasonable manner. As the position involves complex accounting tasks, a lower degree e.g., a Bachelors degree or Associates degree in the same field does not provide the theoretical and advanced knowledge required. Likewise, experience instead of an advanced degree would not provide the level of theoretical and advanced, academic knowledge required for this position.
