Develop and Validate Auto Airbag Systems including metal stampings, sewn and plastic parts.br br Experience may be obtained concurrently.br br This is a key position with Joyson Safety Systems Acquisition, responsible for managing team to develop and validate Auto Airbag Systems with mechanical and electro mechanical components including design of metal stampings, sewn and plastic parts using SolidWorks or AutoCAD; managing and supporting build and modification of Airbag modules including teardown and review of posttest assemblies; and reviewing system targets per OEM requirements and recommending designs achieving targets through design validation. Because this is a key and critical position, requiring extensive knowledge of, as well as experience in the development, design and problem resolution of auto restraint products and components, a Bachelors Degree inbr Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, related field or foreign equivalent and five years post baccalaureate progressive experience working in Auto Restraints, is required, as the position involves working with SolidWorks or AutoCAD for the vehicle interface creation by designing metal stampings, sewn and plastic parts using, and creating design validation plans using system targets per specs, and developing, validating, and analyzing Auto Airbag Systems including metal stampings, sewn and plastic parts and reviewing test results.
