Requires a bachelors or foreign equivalent degree in engineering, computer science or a related technical field and 5 years of experience in the position offered or 5 years of experience developing embedded microprocessorbased controls. Also requires 5 years of experience working with crossfunctional teams; architecting and developing electronic controls for water heating or HVAC equipment; developing and executing system requirements documentation requirements traceability and test cases; implementing functional safety or agency certification requirements; performing product and component level FMEAs; maintaining real time embedded systems over product lifecycle; and using WiFi, Bluetooth, cellular communication, ethernet, and IoT. Employee reports to office in Montgomery, AL. Position may work from home, but must live within commuting distance of stated office. Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience.
