Three 3 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation preparing structural engineering drawings including connection details; performing detail design of stabilization, repair, reinforcements or demolition of atrisk or damaged structures; developing structural engineering calculations utilizing structural analysis and design software; analyzing existing steel, reinforced concrete, and masonry structures; working with Building codes and producing and assessing structural designs in compliance with them and other building codes; conducting field assessment of a building and collecting field information of structures and writing field reports; utilizing experience with forensics investigations of structural failures; and analyzing design of temporary construction structures for stability and compliance with appropriate codes. In the alternative, employer will accept a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in one of the abovelisted fields and five 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the abovelisted skills. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable.
