Must have 3 years of experience with the following skills complex and modern rail vehicle commissioning experience to include propulsion performance testing, brake performance testing, noise performance testing, clearance performance testing, entrance system testing, and passenger information system testing; instrumentation experience to include dynamic data acquisition using accelerometers, analog vehicle signals, digital vehicle signals, pressure transducers, and thermocouples; understanding of vehicle control and trainline architecture MVB, WTB, ETHIF, analog; experience writing detailed reports documenting rail vehicle qualification test results; experience developing detailed test schedules and influencing the successful achievement of those targets; must have previously demonstrated the full completion of a qualification testing program; experienced in leading a functional team of commissioning engineers to maintain critical testing targets; objective examples of previous influence on overall vehicle projects to achieve technical solutions to meet customer specification. Approximately 40 travel required.
