Requires a Masters degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Genetics, or related field plus 1 year of experience, or a Bachelors degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Genetics, or related field plus 4 years of experience. Requires 1 year of experience with a Masters degree or 4 years of experience with a Bachelors degree with engineering industrial relevant microorganism such as yeast, prokaryotes, andor filamentous fungi. 1 year of experience with a Masters degree or 4 years of experience with a Bachelors degree of working in industrial setting and prior experience working in a synthetic biology company is a plus. 1 year of experience with a Masters degree or 4 years of experience with a Bachelors degree with DNA sequence analysis and in silico DNA sequence manipulation. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or R or similar programs. Ability to independently design and conduct experiments to test a series of hypotheses to support the project with some guidance from the project manager. Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and drive multiple priorities simultaneously.
