Requires a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field plus one 1 year of experience in job offered or related occupation. Background with cloud computing using AWS, two or more containerbased applications, and Terraform, CloudFormation, or a similar tool. Knowledge of scalable software infrastructure in a public cloud environment, including Amazon Web Services AWS or Google Cloud Platform GCP. Background with Unix system administration, including network routing, IP subnetting of IPv4 and IPv6, access control patterns using network ACLs, and inboundoutbound security groups. Background with best practices for coding and testability. Background with Docker and Kubernetes. Background with containerization, microservices, and software infrastructure automation. Background with modern source control tools e.g. git and continuous integrationcontinuous development CICD build and deployment tools e.g. Jenkins, Circle CI. Background with data structures and algorithms. Experience above must include one year with the Software Development Lifecycle SDLC as it applies to DevOps Development Operations. Background with 1 at least one of the following scripting languages Bash, Python, Ruby, or Golang; 2 using UNIXlevel system tools e.g. netstat, ifconfig, systemD; and 3 REST API authentication, authorization, and access patterns.
