Requires Juris Doctor or Master of Law LL.M., or foreign equivalent. Requires admission to the California State Bar. Requires at least three 3 years of experience working as an associate within the Investments Funds practice group of a global law firm. Prior experience must include Advising and represent clients with respect to the establishment, fundraising and ongoing operation of investment funds, real estate funds, and secondary transactions; Drafting documents related to investment fund formation including limited partnership agreements, subscription documents, management service agreements, and other fund formation documents; Drafting offering materials, organizational documents and agreements; Developing legal advice for investors on fund terms and conditions; Drafting limited partnership agreements, subscription documents, management service agreement, and other fund formation documents; Researching marketing rules and securities laws related to private equity funds and fundraising in various jurisdictions; and Researching and preparing memoranda regarding the operation of private equity and real estate funds.
