Education Requirement Masters or foreign equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering or related.br br Work Experience Requirement 2 years of engineering experience in elevator operations elevator equipment and code; elevator component design and analysis; and elevator installation, manufacturing, and service support.br br In the alternative, employer will acceptbr br Education Requirement Bachelors or foreign equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering or related.br br Work Experience Requirement 5 years of engineering experience in elevator operations elevator equipment and code; elevator component design and analysis; and elevator installation, manufacturing, and service support.br br Specific Skills Requirement a qualified applicants experience must include the following skills 1 Reviewing and interpreting contracts to identify technical specifications for elevator components and parts; 2 Experience with new construction and building processes in elevator industry including technical experience with architectural and structural building plans, vertical transportation specifications, and technical survey and evaluation of the technical conditions of elevator hoistways; 3 Vertical Business Specific experience with the following site surveys, existing building installation methods, scaffoldless installation methodologies, standard beams hoist beams, doors and electrical interfaces, and inshaft elevator installation methods; 4 Experience with Sales, Delivery and SupplyOrder Management processes, engineering standards, codes, procedures, and systems using tools including SAP, Salesforce, Bill of Materials, ASME A17.1 safety code for elevators and escalators, and logistics planning and project planning; 5 Vertical traffic analysis and energy calculation using advanced mathematical modeling procedures techniques and computeraided designing tools including TrafCalc, Engcalc, Revit, Monocalc, Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, CREO, MathCAD and 3D Component automation methods; 6 Setting and monitoring the performance of the Area supply against standards and targets in areas such as manufacturing and administration efficiency, cost control, quality, sales revenue, legal compliance, and human resource management by using metrics such as customer touch point, Cost of Poor Quality COPQ, Project profitability, Reduction of Request for Information requests RFIs, Supplier performance, engineering and Continuous improvements cost impact; and 7 Conducting regular supplier governance meetings to manage respective supplier performance, address specific issues, and create supplier performance feedback and quarterly performance scorecards.
