Additional requirements Prior academic background or work experience to include 1 Five 5 years of experience in manufacturing supervision. 2 Three 3 years of experience in quality, including developing and implementing quality policy, procedures and work instructions in a manufacturing environment. 3 Experience with overall strategy, growth, and development of an engineering department. 4 Experience with engineering projects from design and development to manufacturing and implementation. 5 Experience managing technical and engineering projects and providing necessary technical support. 6 Experience with EMC, cooling, vibration protection, as well as modeldetailing with CAD SolidWorks. 7 Experience with production planning activities to include planning, corrective actions and expediting.br br H.13 Desapros parent company was founded in Switzerland in 1959 and has a long history of growing its engineering, design, and manufacturing operations in the Germanspeaking markets. Therefore, the position must be able to read and write in German and English to communicate with international customers, vendors, subcontractors, many of whom are located in Germanspeaking countries. The company has an international footprint with at least 60 of its current clients in German speaking countries, thereby making it imperative that the offered position requires knowledge of German to effectively communicate and conduct business. Additionally, the position must read and write in German and English to translate legacy drawing packages that include specific designs, technical terminology, and customers specific requirements. The offered position must take the customer requirements written in German and translate this to English for its English speaking Engineers to understand and custom design the products for its customers. Further, the company is seeking to expand its international operations which is why one of the main duties of the position is to oversee expansion and global vision. This international expansion will include reaching more German speaking businesses, including the 30 Germanspeaking potential clients Desapro is currently actively targeting. Thus, without the Operations Managers Germanlanguage proficiency, Desapro would be unable to meet the engineering and technical needs of many its most important customers.
