Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 5 years of progressive postbaccalaureate industry experience in VLSI physical design OR Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 2 years of industry experience inbr VLSI physical design OR Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field with thesis involving VLSI design and 60 hours of thesis work with making complex design tradeoffs in the field of VLSI physical design. Experience 5yrs wBachelors, 2yrs wMasters, or 60 hours of thesis work wPh.D. to include any combination of the following skills ASIC physical design optimization through synthesis, place and route; or ASIC physical design timingelectricalphysical signoff analysis; or ASIC physical designbr DFT methodology; or ASIC physical design methodology development using Tcl, C, Perl, or Python; or ASIC Product test engineering with silicon characterization and yield data analysis. Employer will accept up to 6 months of experience in lieu of 6 months of the required industry experience in the following graduate teaching or research assistantship ORbr graduate level internship in VLSI design, Integrated circuit design, computer architecture, microprocessor design, or closely related.br br Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
