The employer will alternatively accept a masters degree in physics or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the position offered or 3 years of experience as an engineer or related occupation in lieu of a PhD. Requires experience with or knowledge of nmthin films; vacuum systems and size effect to electromagnetic, mechanical, and transport properties of metals; PVDAFMTEM equipment; systems to monitor electrical signals during nmthick film deposition and anneal Insitu IV; film surface and structure AFMTEM; collaborating with university teams for failure analysis and problem solving; Presentations and seminar to large public audience and conference.
