This role requires a J.D. or L.L.M., plus 4 years of professional experience as a Lawyer or related legal occupation. Licensure to practice law in at least one U.S. state is also required. Must have prior experience in the following experience with financial services regulation and agencies Reg E, money transmission, lending; Experience with SECCFTC asset classifications; Experience solving, proactively addressing, and unblocking product legal issues; Experience providing legal oversight, management, and responsiveness to a fastmoving business function; Experience working directly and independently with product teams in an inhouse or outside counsel capacity; Experience working with multiple internal groups for feedback and input; Experience with cryptoblockchain product counseling; Experience counseling product teams in launching financial services or technology products, having a clear understanding of the legal and structure and regulatory underpinning those products; Experience utilizing a variety of financial instruments e.g., securities, commodities, derivatives, crypto, including lending, trading, custodial and noncustodial management of assets, and settlement of those instruments; Experience adhering to global laws and regulations, and working with agencies associated with payments, financial services and technology companies, including money transmission laws, NY Bit license, banking regulations, or emoney issuance.br br All suitable combinations of education, training, andor experience are outlined in H.4. to H.14.br br Telecommuting remote work is permitted.
