H10 Section H.14 defines the experience and skills that a qualified candidate must possess to meet the actual minimum requirements for the position. The required experience and skills may be obtained in the position offered or any alternate occupation. The employer would accept the experience and skills from an alternate occupation with any job title.br br Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, or a related field and two years of experience involving the following managing internal or external projects; large scale retrieval, data engineering, data mining or machine learning; Big data technologies, including Hadoop, Spark, Sentry, or Ranger; writing software in Java or Python; and SQL.br br Or Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, or a related field and five years of progressive postbaccalaureate experience involving the following managing internal or external projects; large scale retrieval, data engineering, data mining or machine learning; Big data technologies, including Hadoop, Spark, Sentry, or Ranger; writing software in Java or Python; and SQL.br br Domestic travel required 2030 of the time to client sites.br br Position reports to the Google Chicago, IL office may allow for partial telecommuting.
