5 years of work experience in structural engineering. Experience in the design of buildings, bridges, and the structural aspects of civil infrastructure. Experience in deep foundation and specialty foundation design. Experience in construction phase services for structural discipline responsibilities, which must include experience inspecting work performed by others, reviewing submittals and RFIs, and resolving conflicts. Knowledge of the design of multiple construction materials, including prestressed and precast concrete, structural steel, and masonry. Knowledge of structural engineering software including Autocad, RISA3D, structural analysis software e.g. SAP2000, ETABS, or similar, BIM Software e.g. REVIT, or similar, and Deep Foundation Software e.g. DEEPEX, or similar. Any relevant knowledge may be gained through prior coursework or work experience. Travel to various unanticipated locations throughout the Southwestern United States and Mexico for long and shortterm assignments at client sites.
