Bachelors in Communications or foreign equivalent; 2 years experience in sports journalism with focus on baseball including game notes, statistical research, press box operations and clubhouses locker rooms. Spanish language fluency and capacity to translate baseball terminology from English to Spanish and vice versa. Ability to translate players comments during live events interviewspress conferences. Experience speaking in public for large groups in person, radio or TV. Requires limited domestic travel approx. 35 to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. spring training locations and the 81 road games and home games of the regular reason. Full time. Proof of COVID19 vaccination required.
