Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or a related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field and five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to the Masters degree and one year of experience. Must have one year of experience in the following skills 1 IP networking fundamentals and the application of IP protocols; 2 use of protocols and technologies, including 802.23, 802.1d VLANsSTP, IPv4 IPv6, TCP internals flow control, BGP, OSPF, HSRPGLBP, PIMv2, IGMP, LDP, TACACS, VPNs, MPLS, DNS, or HTTP; 3 experience with either Python or PERL scripting; and 4 documenting and coordinating the deployment of manual and automated tests for complex systems.
