In H.4 and H.4B above, the education requirement is a Bachelors degree or equivalent in Materials Science, Engineering or related.br br In H.10B above, the experience requirement is five 5 years of progressive experience in manufacturing engineering across all phases of a product program i.e., concept planning through execution.br br In H.8A and H.8C above, the employer will accept a Masters degree or equivalent in Materials Science, Engineering or related and three 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering across all phases of a product program i.e., concept planning through execution in lieu of a Bachelors degree or equivalent and five 5 years of progressive experience as described above.br br Special Requirements Work experience to include Simulation tools e.g., CATIA, Delmia, Witness, or related; Project management; Microsoft Office suite of programs, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Design for Manufacturability DFM; Part Datum strategies; PFMEAs; Line layout, development and optimization; and Experience developing standard operating procedures and maintenance procedures. Approximately 40 domestic travel required to support equipment installations and to visit suppliers shops, paint labs, and Tesla plants; and 10 international travel required to address factory acceptance testing and paint trials. Travel expenses to be paid by employer. Successful completion of reference checks and background checks is required.br br Special requirements defined at H.14 not to be conflated with H.8C andor H.10A. There is no timing requirement associated with the special requirements defined at H.14, unless specifically stated otherwise.br br Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.br br In F.2 above, the All Other SOC is assigned based on the extension 172199.04, Manufacturing Engineers.
