In H.4 and H.4B above, the education requirement is a Bachelors degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related.br br In H.10B above, the experience requirement is six 6 years of experience in creating multiphysics models in the area of process control, structural mechanics, thermal, general transport reaction processes, or a combination thereof.br br In H.8A and H.8C above, the employer will accept a Masters degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related and four 4 years of experience in creating multiphysics models in the area of process control, structural mechanics, thermal, general transport reaction processes, or a combination thereof in lieu of a Bachelors degree or equivalent and six 6 years of experience as described above.br br Special Requirements Work experience to include System modeling using COMSOL, Matlab, Simulink, Computational Fluid Dynamics CFD, Discrete Element Method DEM, or Finite Element Method FEM; Developing advanced control algorithm, model predictive control, nonlinear adaptive control, or feedforward control; Signal processing and parameter optimization techniques for system identification and model optimization; Systematic process characterization with proper design of experimentation; and Model regression to empirical data. Successful completion of reference checks and background checks is required.br br Special requirements defined at H.14 not to be conflated with H.8C andor H.10A. There is no timing requirement associated with the special requirements defined at H.14, unless specifically stated otherwise.br br Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
