In H.4 and H.4B above, the education requirement is a Bachelors degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related.br br In H.10B above, the experience requirement is five 5 years of progressive experience in PCBA manufacturing process.br br In H.8A and H.8C above, the employer will accept a Masters degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related and three 3 years of experience in PCBA manufacturing process in lieu of a Bachelors degree or equivalent and five 5 years of progressive experience as described above.br br Special Requirements Work experience to include Design for manufacturing DFM and Design for assembly DFA on PCBA; Six Sigma certification not required; Process Capacity Calculations; Measurement System Analysis MSA; Tolerance analysis, design quality assessment, and improvement techniques; Application of ISOTS 16949 standard; IPC standards for PCB or PCBA manufacturing; and Experience developing or managing suppliers. Approximately 30 travel required 5 domestic25 international to unanticipated sites of supplier manufacturers and tooling companies located mainly in China and Mexico to review design details, tooling specifications, and material properties, and to support new product introduction Build and Business Review Meetings. Travel expenses to be paid by employer. Successful completion of reference checks and background checks is required.br br Special requirements defined at H.14 not to be conflated with H.8C andor H.10A. There is no timing requirement associated with the special requirements defined at H.14, unless specifically stated otherwise.
