Bachelors degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, and 5 years of progressively responsible postBachelors degree experience in a related occupation required.br br br The position also requiresbr br 5 years experience in the high voltage 123kV system voltage and above instrument transformer area.br br 3 years of FEA ANSYS Maxwell version 2014 or newer experience.br br 2 years experience with dielectric insulating materials, including electrical, thermal characteristics of dielectric gels and other alternative insulating materials nonoil and nonSF6.br br 2 years experience with HV dielectric and aging testing.br br 2 years of technical project management experience.br br 3 years experience with AutoCAD, Solidworks, Creo, SAP, PDM.br br 2 years simulation experience Matlab, MathCad, circuit simulation such as Spice, PSpice, electrical power systems simulation such as ATP.br br GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening.
