Requires a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, plus 1 year of experience in a related occupation. Requires 1 year of geotechnical or structural engineering design experience. Requires any amount of experience in all of the following Applying advanced mathematical and fundamental probabilisticstatistical concepts to solve engineering problems; Advanced finite element analysis methodology and software; Mechanical and physical properties of soil or rock and their relation to developing geotechnical engineering solutions, including classifications, permeability, strength, and consolidation properties; basic structural engineering practice such as beam design, steel and concrete design, and a general understanding of mechanics of materials; and Using CAD software to generate 2D and 3D drawings
