The position requires a Masters degree, or foreign equivalent, in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Actuarial Science, or a related field plus two 2 years of experience in the job offered or an Analyst II, Data Sciencerelated occupation. Position also requires demonstrable experience with each of the followingbr br Predictive analytic techniques and statistical diagnosis of models including generalized linear models, treebased models, boosting algorithms, survival models, and clustering techniques;br Predictive toolset including SAS, SQL, R and Python;br Deriving insights from large structured and unstructured datasets to inform business decisions;br Design experiments to identify and test hypotheses in the course of developing predictive models for business applications;br Researching, recommending, and implementing new or alternative statistical methodologies appropriate for the given model or analysis;br Building of automated or lowtouch model processes for optimizing stakeholder easeofuse and to meet specific client needs;br Communicating analyses and results to both technical and nontechnical audiences in both written and oral formats; andbr Interpreting model results in a business context and articulating situations when model results should and should not be relied upon.
