Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field and three years of experience involving working with or selling assistive technology for people who are blind or visually impaired; working with people who are blind or visually impaired; working with special education teachers and departments that support students who are blind or visually impaired; working with federal and state organizations that serve the needs of veterans who are blind or visually impaired; Braille production or Accessible curriculum for students who are blind or visually impaired; and managing independent distributors of products for people who are blind or visually impaired. Or Five years of experience in one or more of the following fields of work working with or selling assistive technology for people who are blind or visually impaired; working with people who are blind or visually impaired; working with special education teachers and departments that support students who are blind or visually impaired; working with federal and state organizations that serve the needs of veterans who are blind or visually impaired; Braille production or Accessible curriculum for students who are blind or visually impaired; and managing independent distributors of products for people who are blind or visually impaired.br br Section H.14 defines the experience and skills that a qualified candidate must possess to meet the actual minimum requirements for the position.
