Candidate must also have two 2 years of related work experience involving each of the followingbr Providing expertise in activities, including maintaining instances, maintaining file systems, and taking appropriate backups for security and consistency, utilizing disaster recovery strategies, and application load balancing concepts;br Performing database level user management in managing the profiles at the user, responsibility, and site levels, utilizing DB2 grant, DB2 roles, Role Based Access Control and OS Groups;br Designing and developing database queries, triggers, procedures, functions and packages for ETL processes and data analytics utilizing IBM DB2 data studio, Toad, VI editor and DB2 CLP;br Utilizing DB2advis, DB2expln, DB2exfmt, DB2batch,NMON Analyzer andToad SQL Optimizer to conduct performance tuning of batch queries;br Preparing the ETL design, load strategy, and data engineering for source systems using DB2 import, DB2 export and DB2 load;br Driving technical aspects of project delivery, including program and database testing, and making modifications to resolve errors, utilizing UNIX Shell scripts, PowerShell Scripts, Crontab scheduling, deadlock, Lockwait, Read Efficiency analysis, generating explain plan, Query tuning, Query rewrite, and advising indexes;br Performing research and analysis, and consulting with endusers and functional teams for developing technical specifications for database construction and maintenance, and contacting IBM using PMR for technical resolutions; andbr Utilizing Software Development Lifecycle SDLC processes and agile processes to deliver projects across different phases of implementation, including design, development, and the deployment phase.
