Education Bachelor Mechanical Engineering, or a related field of studybr Experience Five 5 years in the position above, as a Design Engineer, or in a related automotive system design and development role;br Education andor experience must include at least three 3 years with each of the followingbr 1. Design of body electronics packaging and development, from design to start of production.br 2. Prepare, present, and obtain customer approval of DRBFMDFMEA, review and negotiate customer specifications, and contribute with VAVE proposals to achieve program cost target.br 3. Design products using 3D models CATIA or NX, and conduct CAE analysis using Ansys to evaluate designs.br 4. Create and review component and assembly drawings according to GDT methodology, and release in drawing systems, including DARWIN and Teamcenter.br 5. Support manufacturing plants in resolving issues, including identify root cause of problems and develop corrective actions.br 6. Identify risks of engineering changes and negotiate with internal and external groups, vendors, and customers, then get Product Development Team concurrence for cost, quality, and timing impacts.br 7. Create, prepare, and release ECAA and ECI within DARWIN and COPE systems, to document engineering changes, with consideration of new or change points to the design and manufacturing processes.br 8. Create DVPR and PVPR, coordinate PV tests, and present results to customers.br Will accept equivalent foreign degree; will accept Masters degree in above major fields of study and three 3 years of relevant experience; will also accept any fully equivalent combination of education,br training, andor work experience.
