Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related technical field and 3 years of experience in the position offered or related, or a Bachelors degree in the above mentioned fields and 5 years of experience in the position offered or related. Must have 3 years of experience with ETL Tools DataStage, Informatica, Pentaho Data Integration or AWS Glue; Visual communication, user interface design, data visualization Tableau or Java script and reporting tool background Cognos or Pentaho; Visual representation of data, both in graphics and in the web browser; Ingesting data from variety of data sources, including relational databases SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase or MongoDB and APIs in to cloud ecosystem AWS or Azure; S3 Datalakes and Data Governance platforms eg Collibra, Cloud Pak for Data; TDD, CICD system to build, test and deploy code in an automated deployment pipeline; Programming languages Python or Scala; Big Data technologies Spark or Hadoop; Crossbrowser HTML and CSS skills; Containerbased deployments using Docker, working with Docker images, Docker Hub and Dockerregistries and Kubernetes. Parttime telecommuting permitted.
