Education Bachelor Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or a related field of study; will accept equivalent foreign degree.br Experience Six 6 years in the position above, as a Mechanical Engineer or in a related automotive engineering role;br Experience must includebr 1. Automotive, commercial and specialty vehicle BIW and chassis engineering and design for electric and conventional ICE propulsion platforms.br 2. European and U.S. OEM product development methodologies, quality processes, and regulatory requirements.br 3. Studio engineering conducting feasibility studies of new design themes and models with respect to manufacturability and compliance to legal standards and quality requirements.br 4. Catia V5V6 and Siemens NX, including kinematic models and simulations,br digital mockups for clearances, interferences, and assembly analysis, as well as parametric modeltables and applying knowledgebased Engineering principles.br 5. Engineering design process from concept thru production release, including design and feasibility of exterior vehicle and body structure including sheet metal, upper and lower body structure, fenders, quarter panels, glass, and roof, and including design for assemblymanufacture and GDT.br 6. Development of design solutions considering available materials, manufacturing processes, and performing engineering calculations for mass, strength, and mechanical performance.br br Location Multiple, undetermined worksites throughout the U.S.
