Requires a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or working in the electric motor product engineering industry development, management and application of product. Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following 3D and 2D design using CAD software such as SolidWorks or similar; utilizing Finite Element Software FEA such as Ansys or similar; developing products using engineering methodologies such as Ishikawa, QFD, FMEA, or DFSS; material requirements planning using SAP MRP or similar; coordinating changes to product designs using Engineering Change Notices ECN; and designing to electrical motor standards from NEMA, UL, IEC, IEEE or similar. Experience may be gained concurrently. Candidates must also possess a Six Sigma Green Belt certification. Travel required internationally up to 8 of working time.
