Requires a Masters degree in Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, or closely related field, plus 1 year of professional data analytics experience in the healthcare sector. Employer will also accept a Bachelors degree in Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, or closely related field, plus 3 years of professional data analytics experience in the healthcare sector. Must have 1 year of experience in each of the following 1 working with complex data structures and large datasets in a researchbusiness setting; 2 performing descriptive and inferential statistical procedures on datasets to solve complex business problems and assist stakeholders in decision making; 3 utilizing data analysis manipulation tools including SAS, SQL and Excel including VBA; 4 building, stabilizing, validating, and monitoring statistical models and ensuring that they meet the project requirements; 5 delivering oral and written data analytics presentations to project managers and business stakeholders; 6 data processing, data extraction, and variable reduction; 7 claims, pharmacy and lab data and, clinical coding systems; and 8 cost and utilization analytics metrics, methods, and frameworks.
